Preparing for black paint. Cleaning with acetone ,simple green then metal prep solution and rinse with water and baking soda. I’m using Krylon Fusion black flat paint and Rustoleum matte Clear enamel as final coat.

After sanding,grinding,cutting with a Makita chainsaw, Kings Tools  etc.....

Gluing in progress. It took many days to join all the wood pieces. I was trying to add one layer of wood each day. Used Titebond 3.
